It was a rough week. WrestleMania can be seen as the season finale of WWE’s year, as the show features all kinds of major matches and the culmination of stories that WWE has been building up for months. There is little time to waste once the show is over though as it is time to get back with the Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania, which often features several major events of its own. One person had two rough nights in a row and now he is saying something about it.

At WrestleMania 39, Cody Rhodes lost to Roman Reigns in the show’s main event as he challenged for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title. The following night, Rhodes was ready to team with Brock Lesnar to face Reigns and Solo Sikoa when Lesnar turned on Rhodes and attacked him. Rhodes has taken to Instagram and talked about how he makes no excuses for what happened and thanking a variety of people for helping him get so far. He reiterates that he wants to be the fans’ champion and will address his future plants this week on Monday Night Raw.

Rhodes had a busy week. Check out some of what he had to do:

Opinion: Rhodes has done quite a bit over the last week and a lot of it did not go his way. What matters is that WWE still seems to have major plans for him, which could go in a variety of directions. Right now it seems like he is going to have to deal with Lesnar and that could be quite the problem. Hopefully he can get back on track, as there is a lot for him left to do.

What do you think of Rhodes? Will he be WWE Champion? Let us know in the comments below.
