He’s next. Last year, Goldberg made a surprise return to WWE and went on a short run, eventually winning and losing the Universal Title. While he hasn’t been seen in WWE since the night after losing the title to Brock Lesnar, that doesn’t mean that he won’t be around in some other format. As it turns out, he’ll be appearing on another rather popular show.

As announced on Twitter, Goldberg will guest star on two episode of “The Flash” during this season. In a tweet responding to the announcement, Goldberg says he’s doing this for his son. Goldberg will be the third wrestler to appear on the show, following Edge and Cody Rhodes in earlier seasons. This is the second network show Goldberg has appeared on this season after he began a recurring role on “The Goldbergs”.

Opinion: Whether you’re a fan of Goldberg or not, the guy does seem to be quite the family man and someone who loves doing things for kids. He always talked about wanting to be a superhero for kids and there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s not clear if he’ll be a hero or a villain on this show but he certainly has the appearance to be either.
