It’s certainly a step. With TNA’s major changes abounding, one of the big questions was what would happen with the pay per view market. It turns out that things are changing again as TNA announced their next major pay per view at tonight’s “Impact Wrestling” tapings.

According to 411mania.com, it was announced that the “Slammiversary 2017” pay per view would take place on July 2 at the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida. TNA has only had two major pay per views per year since 2014 with Slammiversary taking place in Orlando in the last two years.

Opinion: Right now, the key for TNA is stability. They need to stop being so erratic and get something consistent, which can be helped by having something standard like a pay per view. I know staying in Orlando isn’t the most exciting thing in the world but it’s better than not having a show. This gives them something to build towards and that’s a good thing.
