It’s a good one. Around this time of year, the Undertaker’s Wrestlemania Streak always comes up. The thing was around for so many years that it’s hard not to talk about it at least in some way, if nothing else due to how many classic matches that were a part of it. The Undertaker took on and defeated some of the greatest names of all time during the Streak, which became one of the most famous runs in wrestling history. During a four year stretch, Undertaker’s matches against two opponents became features of Wrestlemania and WWE is looking back at that run’s grand finale.
This one is worth the time.
Opinion: I still love this match as it contains one of the best near falls in the history of the Undertaker’s Streak. Late in the match Undertaker has angered Michaels so much that Michaels hits him with Sweet Chin Music, knocking Undertaker into a Pedigree. The kickout is one of the best false finishes I’ve ever seen as I completely believed that the Streak was over once and for all. This is an incredible match and something that deserves all the time it received. It’s one of the best matches Undertaker ever had and very high up on Triple H’s list as well.
What did you think of the match? Should the Streak have ended here? Let us know in the comments below.
