It isn’t so well received. AEW has been around for about four years now and the company has changed the way the wrestling world works. After years of WWE dominating the industry, AEW is now allowing wrestlers another place to go. This includes former WWE stars, but it seems that some of the people who have moved over are not seeing things as well as others.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, some former WWE stars who have started working for AEW view it as less prestigious than WWE. Several are said to want to return to WWE when their AEW deals expire if they are wanted back. However, it was also noted that while some of these former WWE stars have been pushed in AEW, they have not had a major impact on AEW. It was also noted that some of these wrestlers requested their releases from WWE after Triple H rose to power. No specific names were given.

Opinion: I can’t say I’m surprised at something like this as WWE has been the dominant force in wrestling for such a long time and AEW is still relatively new. AEW has hit the ground running and that is a rather impressive accomplishment. What matters is that the wrestlers have come over and hopefully they can help AEW grow even more, as having it around is a great thing for the wrestling industry.
