Welcome back? The Women’s Revolution has changed the way the wrestling world works and those changes are not going to be reversed anytime soon. That is a very good thing, as the changes that have been made have been a very good thing for everyone involved. Women’s wrestling has come a long way but a lot of those things were set up many years before then. Now, one of those earlier names might be coming back.

While it might not be what it once was, Impact Wrestling is still around today and still doing rather well at what they do. They run national television every Tuesday night and have been doing so for some time now. The company has a history, and the Knockouts division has long since been an important part of that history. A member of that division might be making a return to the ring.

According to PWInsider.com, former Knockouts Champion Taylor Wilde is scheduled to return to the company after a nine year absence. There is no word on when she will be making her return. Wilde wrestled for the company from 2008 – 2011 and held both the Knockouts and Knockouts Tag Team Titles. Her most recent match took place in February 2011.

Wilde did some things while she was around. Check out some of her accomplishments:

Opinion: I know it has been a good while but why not? Maybe something like this can work out for everyone involved and it’s not like Wilde is some ancient relic at thirty four years old. Wilde is certainly a name from the past and is going to need a reintroduction for the fans, but people who have been watching the company for a long time should remember her. She could make a rather nice entrant in that Knockouts Tag Team tournament which has one slot left.

What do you think of Wilde? How will she do in modern Impact Wrestling? Let us know in the comments below.
