First time for everything. There have been all kinds of matches throughout the course of WWE history but there are still occasions where you see things happen for the first time. That makes for a special moment, even if it is something that flies under the radar. It seems to have been the case again this week, as a WWE Superstar became the first to ever do something in the company.

The main event of this week’s Monday Night Raw saw Becky Lynch defeat Nia Jax in a Last Woman Standing match. According to Wrestling Stats & Info on Twitter, this makes Lynch the first woman in WWE history to compete in two such matches. Her first time in one took place at Evolution in 2018 when she defeated Charlotte. Lynch is scheduled to challenge Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Title at WrestleMania 40.

Opinion: This might not be the biggest milestone in wrestling history but it is something that has not been done before. Lynch is one of the biggest stars in the history of women’s wrestling and at one point was the biggest star in WWE period. It means a lot for her to get to do something like this and it shouldn’t be the biggest surprise that she was the first woman to do this kind of thing twice.
