One More? 37 Year Old Former WWE Champion Open To Return To The Ring After 10+ Year Absence

One more time? Retirement is a tricky situation in wrestling as you never know when someone might be officially done in the ring. There is always the chance that a wrestler is going to come back to the ring later despite seemingly being finished for good. It can make for a big deal when someone teases a return to the ring and now you might be seeing it take place again.

Former WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly recently took part in a virtual signing with RDP Promotions and was asked about a potential return to the ring. Kelly said that she would love to wrestle again for the sake of her twins seeing her in the ring. Kelly, 37, stopped wrestling full time in 2012 but has returned to WWE for occasional special appearances, including three Women’s Royal Rumbles.

Opinion: Sure why not. Kelly might not be remembered as the most serious star in WWE history but having her come back for a one off appearance as a special partner in a fun match could work fine. Let her come back and get a nice reaction while the fans get to see a bit of a surprise. Lower level stars have come back to the ring so why not have Kelly do it as well?
