The card is growing. This year’s Survivor Series is going to be having a rather interesting presentation. While the show has regularly done the Monday Night Raw vs. SmackDown rivalry for the show, this year’s edition will include NXT for the first time ever. That opens up a lot of doors for some ideas and in many cases, that is a very good thing. In this case, it means that they can add NXT into the big elimination tag matches, but they are going to need someone to face.
During this week’s Monday Night Raw, the men’s Team Raw was revealed for the fifteen man five on five on five Survivor Series match. The show was taped on Friday night in Manchester, England but WWE had only revealed that Seth Rollins would be the captain of the team. Now his four teammates have been revealed, with Drew McIntyre, Ricochet, Randy Orton and Kevin Owens rounding out the teams. There is no word on any members of the SmackDown or NXT teams, with their announcements likely coming later this week.
That’s a heck of a lineup. Check out some of the team in action:
Opinion: The other two teams are going to be hard pressed to top that one as it is a heck of a lineup. That’s one of the best things going about WWE today: they just have so much talent that it is hard to argue against almost any combination that they throw out there. You have multiple World Champions plus two stars of the future, which is a pretty great way to put together a group of wrestlers for the match. If the other teams are in the ballpark, we could be in for a heck of a show.
Who do you think will be on the other teams? How will the match go? Let us know in the comments below.
