Family Issue: Rey Mysterio Took A DNA Test To Make Sure He Was Dominik Mysterio's Father

He had to know. There have been all kinds of wrestling families throughout the years and some of them have been incredibly successful. It can mean a lot when a new member of the family gets into the wrestling industry as they already have quite the start on everyone else. At the same time though, not all families get along and now one of them had to make sure things were as they seemed.

WWE Hall Of Famer was a guest on Kevin Hart’s “Cold As Balls” interview show, where he was asked about his son Dominik Mysterio. Rey was asked about the height difference between the two as Dominik is nearly a foot taller. Hart went on to ask if Rey had taken a DNA test to make sure he was related to Dominik. Rey revealed that he had taken such a test and the two were in fact related.

Opinion: There is something funny about taking it to that different level and Rey seems to be rolling with the idea. Rey vs. Dominik was actually a pretty strong feud and I could go for seeing them do something else in the future. At the very least, the idea of Dominik taking the United States Title from Rey is appealing and maybe that is what we’ll see down the line.
