Hopefully it’s not serious. WWE is currently in an all hands on deck situation for its women’s division. This Sunday, Evolution will be taking place, offering the first ever all women’s pay per view in WWE history. This means a variety of names will be competing, including Alexa Bliss. She is scheduled to be teaming with Mickie James to face Trish Stratus and Lita, though that might have just been changed.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bliss is suffering from a concussion. She reportedly suffered the injury on Saturday night at a house show, which was only one night after she returned to the ring after an arm injury. It should be noted that Bliss was nowhere to be seen tonight during a backstage brawl between Stratus and Lita and James, with Alicia Fox taking Bliss’ place.
It’s not the same without Bliss.
Opinion: Hopefully it’s not as bad as it seems, but these are the kind of things that could go on for a long time. Bliss not appearing during the backstage segment tonight would seem to be a red flag, but you never can tell how fast something like this could clear up. Hopefully Bliss can make the show, as the story has been built around her in the first place. At least there’s always the option of moving the match to another show like Survivor Series just in case.
Do you think the match will take place on Sunday? If not, when do you think it will happen? Let us know in the comments below.
