Raise it up a little. One of the biggest stories over the summer on SmackDown Live has been the Kevin Owens vs. Shane McMahon. Owens has not been happy with the amount of time that McMahon has spent on the show and wanted to do something about it. This has turned into a story involving Owens being fired and a major lawsuit, but now ew know where things are heading.
This week on SmackDown Live, Owens challenged McMahon to one final match to end their feud. The match will be a Loser Leaves Town Ladder match, with Owens dropping his lawsuit and McMahon reinstating him. There was no date given for the match, though next Friday’s SmackDown Live premiere on FOX or next Sunday’s Hell In A Cell would be likely possibilities.
Set em up. Check out how the match was set up:
Opinion: you had to know something like this was coming and I’m rather relieved that it won’t be inside the Cell again. What’s the point in having them do the same match they did two years ago when it isn’t even about the violence anymore? This is about getting rid of one of them and literally clinching something is a good way to illustrate what they’re going for. You can pick either show to put it on too, though the pay per view would seem to be more likely.
When do you think the match will take place? Who do you see winning? Let us know in the comments below.
