Elias’ New York City Concert Gets A Major Upgrade

He’s been moved to the bigger venue. Over the course of the last year, Elias has gone from a gimmick performer to one of the most popular acts on Monday Night Raw. Just playing the heck out of a guitar is enough to turn him into a hot star. He’s feuding with bigger and bigger names and has even released an album earlier this summer. Now though, he’s getting a big moment on a grand stage.

As announced on his Twitter, Elias has had his planned concert in New York City moved from a club on Saturday to the Summerslam card in the Barclays Center on Sunday. At the moment Elias doesn’t have a match on the card, though he has been feuding with Bobby Lashley in recent weeks. Elias has already performed a concert in a bar, appearing over on Bourbon Street in New Orleans over WrestleMania weekend.

Opinion: That’s not the worst idea in the world, though having Elias actually doing the concert in New York City would have been a cool concept. The New Orleans show was fun so maybe the New York one would have improved on the first one. Putting it on Summerslam would be a nice boost, though it does come off more as a way to have Lashley get on the show.
