I think we can find a spot for him. Later this week, WWE will present its latest Saudi Arabian show with Super ShowDown 2020. These shows do not have the strongest reputations and that is the case for a good reason. Ignoring all of the political ramifications, there is also the issue that the shows just are not very good. The upcoming show may include a surprise, which may boost things a bit.
One of the hallmarks of the show has been the inclusion of legends. The idea is that big name acts being on the show will boost its credibility and interest, hence so many top stars of both the past and present appearing on the show. The idea makes sense in theory, but it hasn’t helped things out all that much so far. Maybe not announcing them in advance will help, which is what WWE is trying with a big one this time around.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Undertaker is traveling to Saudi Arabia for Super ShowDown, where he will be making some sort of appearance. There is no word on if he will be having a match or if he will be appearing in some other form. Undertaker has not wrestled since Extreme Rules 2019 but he is rumored to be facing AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36 in April.
Undertaker has been a part of these shows before. Check out a few of his appearances:
Opinion: I’m not sure how this is going to go as Undertaker doesn’t exactly have great matches most of the time. He can do a few things to get by and his presence is all that he needs, though it’s not like him appearing at the previous few shows has offered that much of an impact. Maybe they can come up with something better, but this isn’t quite the major moment that it might have been before.
