It’s better than no explanation. This week’s Monday Night Raw was another hit or miss edition, but there was one part that got almost everyone’s attention. One match did not exactly go over all that well, and a lot of that was due to how the participants were not exactly seeming to be on the same page. Now we know a bit more about what happened and things are still a little hazy.
Monday Night Raw’s match between Charlotte and Nia Jax broke down on multiple occasions, with the two seemingly not on the same page more than once. There were a few instances where it seems the two were not cooperating, including Charlotte hitting Jax harder than usual and Jax dropping Charlotte several times. There are multiple explanations for what happened.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the match may have been an attempt at a worked shoot, with both women attempting to make the match feel like it fell apart while being planned the entire time. However, according to PWInsider.com, the match was “exactly what it appeared to be”, as the two legitimately hit each other more than once and had several issues during the middle of the match. They ultimately finished the match as planned though and there were no issues backstage.
The match was kind of a mess. Check out how the match went and the two on better terms:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that is going to take place every now and then and there is almost no way to spin it positively. What happened on Monday Night Raw was a total mess and that is the kind of thing that you never want to see happen. The good thing is that both of them seem to be ok, but WWE needs to make sure that something like this doesn’t happen again.
