What did he say? Daniel Bryan is one of the most well traveled performers in the world, having wrestled in Japan, the UK, Europe and all over America. This includes a variety of independent promotions, including one of the biggest around: Ring of Honor. Bryan hasn’t been there in a long time, but he’s mentioned it quite recently.

This week on “Talking Smack”, Bryan mentioned Ring of Honor in a discussion with AJ Styles. Earlier in the night on “Smackdown Live”, Styles had refused to shake Shane McMahon’s hand. Bryan asked Styles “why didn’t you shake his hand like in the good old Ring of Honor days?” Styles and Bryan met three times in Ring of Honor with Styles winning two matches to one.

Opinion: I’m not sure why this is so interesting every single time but it gets people talking every time. It’s almost like naming other promotions is WWE’s version of swearing and everyone runs over to hear what’s going on. While it might not be that bad, it certainly gets attention, which is more than can be said about a lot of what WWE does.
