One more for Philly. The 2017 pay per view calendar is starting to fill in its gaps, one show at a time. So far we’re covered through June, which means that we still have quite a few to go. With multiple pay per views for most of the months, there are bound to be a lot of cards being announced in a hurry. As of Monday, we have another show on the calendar.

According to 411mania.com, WWE has announced that “Battleground 2017” will take place from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on July 23. The pay per view’s brand has not been announced and just because it was announced at a “Monday Night Raw” show doesn’t mean that “Battleground 2017” will be a “Monday Night Raw” show.

Opinion: I still don’t understand why every major city gets a pay per view when there are so many to go around. Maybe it’s because I’m not from the biggest city in the world but it would be nice to have something come to a town closer to where I live. Of course I’m not expecting a show in a town of 300,000 people but it would be a bit refreshing to go to some places that don’t normally get pay per view.

Which pay per views would you like to see fill out the calendar? What is your favorite pay per view name? Let us know in the comments below.
