Peacock power! NXT is one of the busiest promotions in the world at this point with two different touring groups and a ton of talent running around. With all of the potential names being signed to the promotion, they certainly have their pick of talent. However, one potential signing isn’t coming in any time soon.

According to PWInsider by way of 411mania.com, Dalton Castle has re-signed with Ring of Honor and will not be coming in to WWE and NXT for the time being. There is no word on how long the new contract is for. Castle was a target for NXT and was recently rumored to be signing with the promotion.

Opinion: That’s certainly a perk for Ring of Honor and it might be the best move for Castle. He’s only 31 years old and could be signed to WWE in the future. At the moment, NXT has so many top level talents signed that Castle might not be able to put anything together that gets him noticed over a lot of the other names.
