He just made the injured list. This past Sunday, Chris Jericho was the Iron Man of the 2017 Royal Rumble, in the process setting a new record for the longest combined time spent in the Royal Rumble all time. However, Jericho didn’t quite come out of the match unscathed as he’s suffered a minor injury.

According to Wrestlinginc.com, Jericho injured his ankle when he was eliminated by Brock Lesnar, who threw him off the top rope to the floor. Jericho’s injury wasn’t too terrible as he was able to wrestle a fairly long match against Sami Zayn the following night on “Monday Night Raw”. At the moment, it doesn’t seem that he’ll be missing any ring time as a result of the injury.

You have to expect something like this as wrestling is a physical sport. Jericho is one of the healthier wrestlers in history as he’s barely ever had any major injuries over the course of his career. Thankfully this isn’t anything too bad as he was able to have a perfectly normal match the following night.

What do you think Jericho will do at “Wrestlemania XXXIII”? How long do you think he’ll be in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
