Change it up a bit. The Mae Young Classic is coming up in the next few weeks with thirty two women competing in a single elimination tournament. This is basically the female version of the successful Cruiserweight Classic from last year so there’s a good chance this is going to be a lot of fun. Things are already starting to change as there’s a new logo for the competition.

Earlier this week, WWE changed the image from the original black background with the words “MAE YOUNG CLASSIC” in gold and black letters to a more stylized version in white letters over a mostly blue background. There is also what looks to be a woman posing next to the name.

Here’s the original image:

Opinion: I like the change. The original feels like something that was put together in all of a few seconds while the new version at least looks like it had some effort put in. It gives the tournament a bit more flavor and makes it seem more interesting or hopefully even more important.

Which logo do you like better? Who do you hope to see in the tournament? Let us know in the comments below.
