Earlier this week, Matt Hardy sent out a tweet which led many to believe that he and Anthem Sports — the owners of Global Force Wrestling (formerly TNA) and the Broken Hardys gimmick — were close to working out a deal which would allow him to use his Broken persona in WWE. Sadly though, it looks like they’re still not close to resolving the issue.

According to PW Insider, the word backstage at this week’s GFW Impact tapings was that the Hardys and Anthem are nowhere close to getting a deal done. So, it doesn’t look like we’ll be seeing the Broken gimmick in WWE anytime soon.

The Hardys are schedule to wrestle Sheamus and Cesaro at this Sunday’s Great Balls of Fire show in a 30-minute iron man match for the Raw Tag Team Titles. But, according to Cageside Seats, WWE isn’t planning on putting the title back on the Hardys anytime soon.

Do you think that we’ll ever see the Broken Hardys in WWE? What do you think the future holds for the team if they don’t win the Raw Tag Team Titles at Great Balls of Fire? Let us know in the comments section below, or over on Facebook.
