Check the Hype for Yourself: The First Six-Star Match Is Free This Week

Free is good. By now, I’m sure you’ve heard about the early Match of the Year candidate between Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada at New Japan Pro Wrestling’s “Wrestle Kingdom 11”. However, for those of you who haven’t been able to see it, now there’s not much of an excuse yet.

As of now, New Japan has made the match available for free on its website. There is no word on how long the match will be available for but as of this posting, it is still ready to watch. The match has received nearly universal praise with Dave Meltzer giving it six stars instead of his usual five star scale.

While I found the match to be a little overrated, I still found it to be excellent and one of the best matches I’ve seen in a very long time. The match does run long and has received a lot of hype but it’s certainly worth watching if you have the time. If nothing else, watch it in a few shifts and there’s something in it for almost any wrestling fan. It’s going to be a Match of the Year candidate at the end of the year and that’s the case for a reason.
