Mick Foley Explains Monday Night’s Awful Suit

I’d wear it. So as you might have noticed earlier this week on “Monday Night Raw”, Mick Foley wore a rather hideous looking green plaid suit. This has been a trend for Foley in recent weeks as he wears odder and odder clothing every single week. Now though, we have a little more insight into Foley’s thinking as per a statement on his Facebook page.

In short, Foley has given up on worry about what people think of his clothing or really anything about him. Foley tells a story about how he realized that there’s no point in worrying about what people think about him. The post contains a picture with a humorous caption on the subject.

Actually , I think it was two summers ago – when I went back to the fanny-pack, and was eating a funnel cake at a fair in Kentucky – when I truly realized that I no longer cared what people thought of me. When you are rocking the fanny pack, and getting powdered sugar everywhere – fully aware that people are taking your photo – you truly are no longer playing the game of life with your own set of rules. Foley is my all time favorite wrestler and I’ve always had a soft spot for ridiculous fashion sense. He’s long since established himself as a top level wrestling celebrity and people are going to take his picture or ask for a picture no matter what he’s wearing. If nothing else it makes for an amusing moment every week on “Monday Night Raw”. Just have fun with it.
