I guess this counts as a dream match. Late last month, Becky Lynch announced that she would be challenging Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey at April’s WrestleMania 35. This match might be the main event of the show, and if that’s the case it’s going to be the biggest women’s wrestling match of all time. As it turns out, WWE already has a new match in mind for Lynch later in the year.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is currently considering Lynch vs. Stephanie McMahon for this year’s Summerslam event in August. Their story was started earlier this week on Monday Night Raw when McMahon suspended Lynch for refusing to have her knee examined by the medical staff. Lynch then attacked McMahon and referenced it again the next night on SmackDown Live.

It could be the start of something bigger. Check out Lynch attacking McMahon on Monday:

Opinion: I can’t really say I’m surprised as McMahon has a tendency to get involved in nearly every major storyline involving the women’s division. In theory, Lynch should destroy McMahon but I have a feeling that it’s going to wind up becoming more of an even match than it should be. Maybe the story can help, but this isn’t exactly inspiring news at the moment.
