That’s J-E-Double-F. Back in 1999, Jeff Jarrett held Vince McMahon up for more money to appear at “No Mercy 1999” in a highly publicized Intercontinental Title match. Jarrett was basically told never to come back again and started his own company, now known as Impact Wrestling, as a result. Jarrett seemed to be gone from WWE for good….and then this happened.
As announced on WWE.com, Jarrett will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2018. This will be Jarrett’s first appearance with the company in over eighteen years. Jarrett wrestled for WWE from 1992-1996 and again from 1997-1999, during which he was a six time Intercontinental Champion and a one time European and Tag Team Champion. He also won ten World Titles in WCW and Impact Wrestling.
Here’s the announcement video:

Opinion: Well I’m stunned. This is one of those things you never actually expect to see happen and then it just does. I guess time really can heal all wounds and now I’m not sure who is now the biggest name left on the WWE blacklist. Jarrett’s speech could be interesting, especially if Kurt Angle is looking up at him.
Are you shocked Jarrett is being inducted? Who should induct him? Let us know in the comments below.
