It’s in. WWE presents quite a few major events every year and the biggest of them all are among the top wrestling events of the year. It can be quite the event to have one of those shows coming to a place they haven’t been to in a long time, which appears to be the case again. WWE has confirmed that a major city will be getting a big show, and there is even more than that.

This week on his Impaulsive podcast, WWE United States Champion Logan Paul announced that this year’s Summerslam will be held at Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio on August 3. This will be the second time that Cleveland has hosted Summerslam, with the first event being held in 1996. In addition, the August 2 SmackDown will be held in Cleveland’s Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse.
WWE has done some things in Cleveland. Check out some of their moments in and around the city:
Opinion: This is a different way to go as Summerslam has not been held in the city for almost thirty years now. It’s a nice change of pace and opens the doors up for fans who might not have been able to see the show in person before. It also continues WWE’s trend of going to NFL size stadiums, which is quite the sign of how well they are able to do at the moment.
