Things really are changing around TNA. According to a new report from PWInsider by way of 411mania.com, Jeff Jarrett has been meeting with the new CEO of Anthem Sports and Entertainment (TNA’s new financial backers/owners) to get some better background on the company. There is NOT an agreement in place for Jarrett to return to the company at the moment but it does seem that communications are open.

Jarrett was the founder of TNA but was forced to leave due to some behind the scenes issues, leading to Dixie Carter and Panda Energy taking over. After a few years away, Jarrett returned as part of the Global Force Wrestling invasion which saw him win the King of the Mountain Title and receive an induction into the TNA Hall of Fame. According to the report, Jarrett would continue running Global Force Wrestling and could possibly bring the group into TNA.

Honestly, why not? It’s not like TNA is in any kind of position to make demands (though that never stopped Carter) and maybe Jarrett can offer a fresh perspective. His dad is a wrestling genius and Jarrett’s time with the company was hardly terrible. I’d be fine with him showing up and being an on screen authority figure of some sort. It’s not like things can get much worse.

Would you like to see Jarrett back in TNA? Should he appear on TV? Let us know in the comments below.
