You have to get them in somehow. Later this month, WWE will present Evolution, its first ever all women’s pay per view. The card will feature a large number of female performers with original announcements promoting over fifty appearing on the show. The currently announced card will need some help getting there, but there’s a certain kind of match that could help.
This week on Monday Night Raw, WWE announced a battle royal for Evolution. The match will feature a number of women with the winner receiving a future Women’s Title match at a date to be announced. There are currently fourteen women announced, including Alicia Fox, Asuka, Billie Kay, Carmella, Dana Brooke, Ember Moon, Lana, Mandy Rose, Naomi, Nia Jax, Peyton Royce, Sonya Deville, Tamina and Torrie Wilson. There is no word on how many total people will be included in the match.
Here’s a little preview.
Opinion: You knew we were going to have some kind of a battle royal on the show somewhere in there because there’s only so much room on the card for so many matches. There’s nothing wrong with piling a bunch of them into a match as it lets them get on the show, even if there isn’t much of a story for them. That’s the point of a battle royal and it’s working fine here.
