One of the ways of looking at it. Last week on Monday Night Raw, one of the most important groups in the history of the WWE reformed yet again, this time to set up a match against two more veterans. D-Generation X is teaming up to face the Brothers of Destruction at Crown Jewel, so of course it’s time to take another look back at the team’s history.

WWE has posted a new video to its Instagram page, looking at the Top Five D-Generation X Moments That Make You Laugh. The video is a countdown of the team’s comedy moments, though it only focuses on the two man unit of Michaels and Triple H, which only started in their 2006 comeback. The team was together on and off for the next several years, including winning the Tag Team Titles in 2009.

Opinion: I’m still not sure what the point is in having the focus be mainly on the comedy aspect of the team. The match at Crown Jewel is supposed to be something much more serious but the build has focused exclusively on D-Generation X as a fun duo instead of a serious threat. That seems to defeat the purpose, but you know the match itself is going to be more serious in tone.

Which of these moments is your favorite? Are you looking forward to the match? Let us know in the comments below.
