Big Grudge Match Set For Summerslam

Add it to the list. There are a lot of ways to set up a match in wrestling, but one of the best is often having a personal feud between two people. You can get here in a ton of different ways and some of them are more exciting than others. One of the best is having someone avenge someone that they care about, which is what we are going to be getting later this month at Summerslam.

Over the last few months, one of the biggest stories in WWE has been the issues between Seth Rollins and the Mysterio family. Rollins has decided that Rey Mysterio must be sacrificed for the Greater Good, which has resulted in Rey losing his eye twice. That might seem a bit extreme, and now someone close to Rey wanting to do something about it. He now has that chance.

This week on Monday Night Raw, Dominic Mysterio challenged Rollins to a match at Summerslam in an attempt to avenge his father after Rollins’ attacks against him. Rollins did not answer at first, but later in the show, Dominic attacked him, prompting Rollins to accept the challenge. This will be Dominic’s first match in WWE, though he has been in his father’s corner for several months.

I think he has his attention. Check out what made Rollins say yet:

Opinion: I know he is more of a feel good story, but I’m having some real trouble making myself care about what happens with Dominic. His entire character seems to be that he is Rey’s son and that isn’t quite enough for what should be a fairly prominent spot at one of the biggest shows of the year. The match may very well be good, but it isn’t something I’m chomping at the bit to see.
