On the bad list. There are all kinds of injuries that can slow a wrestler down and some of them can be rather serious. At the same time, there is always the chance that an injury is only part of a storyline and everything is fine. Sometimes it can be difficult to tell the difference and that might be the case again as WWE has announced an injury to a popular star.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Long Road: Update On Future CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns Feud
This week on SmackDown, Kevin Owens defeated Grayson Waller in a singles match. Waller then attacked Owens’ hand and damaged it further until the match ended. WWE has since provided an update on Owens, revealing that he has suffered a fractured hand, with the 4th and 5th metacarpals being injured. There is no word on if this is a legitimate injury or part of the storyline.

They’ve been fighting. Check out how we got here:
Opinion: Given how we got to the point, it certainly feels like part of a storyline and that is the best case scenario. The feud with Owens and Waller/Austin Theory started when he punched both of them at once and it would make sense to have Owens’ hand injured at some point. It should be interesting to see where all of this goes, though for now, the best possible outcome is that this is all a big storyline.
