Bad News for Asuka Hitting the Main Roster

The Empress of Many Tomorrows. Asuka has completely dominated the NXT women’s division for the last year and save for Ember Moon, she’s completely out of competition. No one has been able to hold a candle to her and there isn’t much of a reason to be in NXT any longer. This has lead to her making some house show appearances, which could be the start of a full time promotion.

Not everyone seems to agree though. According to Wrestlinginc.com, Dave Meltzer is reporting that Asuka will be in NXT for some time to come. There is no word on whether she’ll be losing the title to Moon at the upcoming “Takeover: Orlando” but either way, there is also the possibility of her working for both the main roster and NXT.

Opinion: I have no idea why Asuka needs to stay in NXT any longer. There’s no doubt that she’s been ready for the main roster since the day she debuted in NXT but for some reason they like to let people stay down there for long stretches of time after they’re ready to go up. There really doesn’t seem to be anything left for her down there but if this report is right, she’ll be around a lot longer.
