Well he’s doing something. There is something special about seeing a celebrity get in the wrestling ring, but what makes it even better is to see someone who winds up being a natural. You don’t get to see this very often but when it works, it works out very well. While that might not be the case with one of the newer celebrities, we might be seeing someone at least getting a chance.
A lot of things happened at the Royal Rumble and several of them could have some long term repercussions. That is not a bad thing either, as many of the events at the show were rather positive. While most of the focus was on the show’s namesake matches, there was something else taking place that might wind up being a big deal on its own. It turns out that there is another step taking place behind the scenes.
According to PWInsider.com, Bad Bunny, who appeared at both the Royal Rumble and at the following night’s Monday Night Raw, has been training in the ring at the WWE Performance Center. This suggests that Bunny is on the way to wrestling in a match, though it is not clear when the match would take place. Bunny has been rumored to be wrestling at WrestleMania 37.
Bunny has already done something in WWE. Check out what he has been doing:
Opinion: I’m still not sure how big of a deal Bunny can be for WWE, but at least they are doing something with a celebrity. Hopefully he gets to do something interesting but more importantly, it could do something to elevate someone new on the WWE roster. Bunny is a celebrity, and he could boost someone else up while also bringing in some extra eyes to the company. If that works, I think everyone would call it a massive success.
