Austin Aries on Being Bumped to the Pre-Show

That’s one way of looking at it. The “Wrestlemania XXXIII” Kickoff Show currently has three matches announced with Austin Aries challenging Neville for the Cruiserweight Title included. While some fans consider this being demoted to something less important, Aries has a somewhat different perspective.

Aries has been asked on Twitter about whether he feels he’s been demoted to the Kickoff Show. Apparently he’s been getting this question a lot and he made his stance very clear in a few short words:

Opinion: I really love this attitude. Aries always comes off like someone who believes in himself and that makes me believe something like this. That match has the potential to steal the show and Aries makes it sound like something you’re going to want to see. So many wrestlers would say something like “eh it is what it is but I’ll do my best.” Aries is more along the lines of “screw the haters, I’m going to own this.” And he probably will.
