How well did they go home again? This week’s episode of “Monday Night Raw” was the go-home show for “Wrestlemania XXXIII”, which meant a host of big names appearing and the final push towards the big show. The question was how well did the final show go, as it could give an indication of how “Wrestlemania XXXIII” could go.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the show drew an average (over the three hours)
audience of 3.29 million viewers, up 8% over last week. This number is down 13% from last year’s go-home show and the second hour was by far the strongest at 3.43 million viewers. The third hour was the weakest at 3.20 million.

Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise as I’d assume a lot of fans who haven’t kept track of the entire build to “Wrestlemania XXXIII” are tuning in to see what’s going on as we get closer to the big show. It’s not always a clear indication but the numbers going up are always a good sign no matter how close it is to Wrestlemania.
