AJ Styles vs. Shane McMahon Confirmed for “Wrestlemania XXXIII”

That’s one more of the big ones. It’s been pretty clear that AJ Styles vs. Shane McMahon was going to be announced for “Wrestlemania XXXIII”. People all over the internet have been talking about it and WWE mentioned it on a recent episode of “Bring it to the Table”. Now, things are looking official.

This week on “Smackdown Live”, Styles attacked McMahon in the parking garage, sending McMahon through a car window and busting him open. Later in the show, McMahon came out to the stage and said that Styles had an opponent for “Wrestlemania XXXIII”. It should be noted that General Manager Daniel Bryan fired Styles from “Smackdown Live” earlier in the night but on WWE’s YouTube channel, the title of a video says the match will take place at “Wrestlemania XXXIII”.

Opinion: I’m not wild on the idea of this match but this is a far better angle than something about a lockbox and McMahon wanting to control “Monday Night Raw” while kicking out of a bunch of Undertaker’s signature moves. Tonight’s angle shifted me from not interested to cautiously optimistic, which is a big surprise.
