Now it’s on another level. So far in 2017, Neville has been one of the most pleasant surprises as he’s gone from a guy with one cool move to one of the best characters on the roster. Now with three devastating finishers and one heck of an attitude, Neville has taken over the cruiserweight division like no one has with any title in a long time. Now he has a new challenger and it could be something special.

Tonight on “205 Live”, Austin Aries won a Fatal Fiveway match over Brian Kendrick, Akira Tozawa, TJ Perkins and Tony Nese to become the new #1 contender, earning himself a Cruiserweight Title match at “Wrestlemania XXXIII”. Aries only returned to the ring a week ago after missing several months with a broken orbital bone.

Opinion: This isn’t exactly a huge surprise but it’s a match that has the potential to be awesome. For the first time since the Cruiserweight Classic, a match in this division feels like it could go either way. This pairing could make for an outstanding match, assuming they’re allowed more than five minutes and aren’t rushed through for the sake of fitting in something else.
