He’s pretty good at it. Wrestling and mixed martial arts have a lot in common. Both feature the basic idea of two people in combat inside of a ring and having to defeat an opponent, which certainly gives off similar vibes. It makes sense that both sports have had crossover appeal with the other and now someone else is going to be trying to do both sports at once.
AEW has quite the roster with a nice mixture of young, up and coming wrestlers and some who have had more exposure on the bigger stage. There are some wrestlers who are going to be recognized because of their time in WWE and that can offer some extra attention. One of those wrestlers is going to be trying his hand in another sport while keeping up his wrestling appearances and it won’t be the first time.

Hager can wrestle too. Check out what he can do in AEW:
Opinion: This is a heck of a tricky effort to pull off but Hager has done well enough at it so far. He has been doing a good job with his wrestling and continues to be a force in AEW, but the fact that he is still undefeated in MMA shows what kind of an athlete that he is. Hager is almost tailor made for the sport and it is no surprise that he has done well in it so far. If he can do the same in both sports, good for him.
