Yesterday we reported that the show today would likely feature an hour-long prayer due to the religious traditions of the people in Saudi Arabia.
While this remains a tradition, Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Live that this may not actually be the case for WWE’s show.
So the prayer isn’t happening?
Well, it is. The prayer is expected to be shorted to a 15-minute intermission, a huge change from the entire hour as expected.
For many fans, they’ll find 15 minutes much easier to deal with, as many live events have intermissions that last around that length.
In fact, Alvarez mentioned that WWE could play an extended promo package during that 15 minutes, so fans in attendance can prayer in peace while viewers at home will still have content to watch.
