There has been much speculation the past week on the status of Lio Rush in NXT and we now have an update on the situation.

Just yesterday we reported that Rush’s status with the company was uncertain after he removed all references to WWE and NXT from his Twitter account. This came after his inappropriate tweet towards Emma following her release from the company.

In the article, we reported that Rush at that time was still with the company despite all the references. Later that night, Rush provided more proof that he is remaining with the company. He competed for the first time since late October while at an NXT house show in Lakeland. There he competed against Adrian Jaoude.

Here are a few tweets from members of the WWE Universe who were in attendance:

While Rush didn’t tweet about the match, Jaoude had a few things to say:

If you aren’t sure just how impressive Jaoude himself is, you can check out the short video below! It is well worth your time, as Jaoude is seriously impressive when it comes to his athletic ability.

Do you think Rush will remain with NXT? Where would he go if he left?
