WWE COO Triple H stopped by Catch-Newz to talk about ‘WrestleMania’ week, where he was asked at length about the injury to WWE Champion AJ Styles heading into the show of shows.

Triple H was first asked if the company has a plan B, in case Styles is unable to defend the WWE Championship against 2018 Royal Rumble winner Shinsuke Nakamura at ‘WrestleMania 34.’

“You always have to have a Plan B, [and] just in case you have a Plan C. AJ is an incredible performer. Replacing AJ Styles would be very difficult. [He’s] not necessarily a replaceable talent, but we would do our best.”

Styles last wrestled on ‘SmackDown Live’ last week against Rusev. The company did an injury angle with him at the Madison Square Garden show and he has since been taken off other ‘SmackDown Live’ events with fans being told he is injured.

While Styles does want to defend the Championship at whatever cost for ‘WrestleMania,’ it may or may not happen.

Styles had the following to say:

“If my leg got cut off I’d find a way to make it to Wrestlemania, I will be wrestling Shinsuke Nakamura at Wrestlemania, don’t worry about it, it’ll be fine.”

Triple H also explained to Catch-Newz that Styles is attempting to get medically cleared- and he is looking like he will be able to make it.

“AJ is working diligently on rehabbing his injuries and getting himself in tip-top shape for WrestleMania. We are trying to help him with that process of getting the best care and the best rehab and everything else possible. We’re hoping for the best. Right now he says he’s feeling a lot better and will be ready to go. Obviously, we’ll get him, doctors, to make sure that he is ready to go and get a medical clearance if that’s possible. He’s working very hard at it, so we’re hoping for the best.”
