One is a Samoan named Joe. In less than three weeks, Roman Reigns faces one of the biggest challenges of his life as he meets Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at “Wrestlemania XXXIV”. While the title change may seem academic at this point, Reigns still needs something to do after the show. We may have a clue what that’s going to be.

There’s definitely a history here.

Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe - Intercontinental Championship Match: Raw, Dec. 25, 2017

According to “Wrestling Observer Radio” by way of 411mania.com, Reigns’ next feud after “Wrestlemania” will be against Samoa Joe. The two feuded back in 2017 and were both part of the four way “Summerslam 2017” main event. Samoa Joe has been on the injured list with a foot injury since January.

Reigns was busy on Monday, which you can recap here.

Opinion: This works for me as these two have had some excellent chemistry in the past. Let them go out there and beat on each other for a few months and the good matches will be academic. If nothing else Reigns has had issues beating Samoa Joe in the past so let him have a challenge to get what is likely to be a fresh title reign off to a good start. Samoa Joe can more than hang with him and the chance of him winning the title could be all the more entertaining.

Let him return like this.
