Eddie Edwards, Bobby Lashley and current Impact Grand Champion Ethan Carter III are all likely set to leave Impact Wrestling after the completion of their contracts.
In much the same fashion as James Storm’s departure, Impact Wrestling and Anthem may want to release these talent in an effort to stop losing money.
WWE has interest in signing Edwards to compete for the NXT brand. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter also reports that Lashley and EC3 both have interest from the company and one or both of them will likely return to WWE once their deals have expired.
At the present time, WWE is unable to negotiate with all three performers and are maintaining their distance. However, it is likely that if any of these talent leave Impact they’ll wind up in WWE eventually.
