Mysterio had a classic entrance in WWE, where he would jump out from seemingly nowhere and the fans in attendance would go wild. The luchador spoke about who helped create the entrance.
“That was awesome, what an entrance man. I wanna say Dean Malenko was the person that either brought that idea to the table or somehow it came about but I know Dean had something to do with it which I loved. I thought that just made the Rey Mysterio character more interesting man it just coming out flying from the bottom… really incredible.”

Mysterio also discussed how he felt debuting with the company, given that a man of his size and in-ring style wasn’t likely to be seen as worthy of wrestling for WWE.
“Overall there was a lot of emotion, a lot of excitement, a lot of fear to make sure my first appearance was one to impact and at the end of the day still to this day every time I do something new I get that butterfly sensation in my stomach where I get the jitters and I’m nervous and I always think that is just a part of me just still feeling the passion to be able to do what I love to do what I’ve done for 28 years… to wrestle.”
There are negotiations with Mysterio ongoing now, with the speculation that the master of the 619 will face John Cena at ‘WrestleMania 34.’
