Training

Not much is known at the present time about her training. She was discovered in Joe DeFranco’s gym in Wyckoff, New Jersey in 2014 and soon signed a contract with WWE by October.

Early Career

Morgan would make her debut as a planted at NXT ‘TakeOver: Rival’ on February 11 in 2015, jumping Tyler Breeze during his entrance. Her next appearance wouldn’t come until May 20 at NXT ‘TakeOver: Unstoppable’ where she was once again part of Breeze’s entrance.

She made her in-ring debut on November 4 where she lost to Eva Marie while using Marley as her name. Not long after, she made her return under the Liv Morgan name where she lost to Emma on December.

Her first taste at potential gold came in a battle royal on January 13 in 2016 where the winner would meet Bayley for the NXT Women’s Championship. However, Carmella was ultimately victorious.

Her first big victory would come later that year on August 16 when she teamed with Carmella and Nikki Glencross to defeat Daria Berenato, Mandy Rose and Alexa Bliss. She would than defeat Aliyah for her first singles win on August 31.

After defeating Rachel Fazio on September 14, she challenged NXT Women’s Champion Asuka to a match, which she would subsequently lose in under a minute. This would immediately lead into a rivalry with Billie Kay and Peyton Royce as they confronted her after the match. Morgan faced Kay two weeks later in a losing effort after Royce interfered. On October 26 she interfered in a match between Kay and Aliyah by attacking Royce, which as a distraction caused Aliyah to defeat Kay. Morgan met Royce on November 16 but the match ended in disqualification after Kay interfered, attacking both Morgan and Aliyah until Ember Moon made the save. Ultimately this would lead to a six-person tag match where Morgan, Aliyah and Moon faced Kay, Royce and Berenato on November 23 where Morgan’s team was victorious.

On May 3, 2017 she competed in a number one contender’s battle royal for the NXT Women’s Championship. She eliminated Sarah Bridges before ultimately being eliminated by Nikki Glenncross under her new name of Nikki Cross.

Currently

After four months away from television, Morgan returned on September 27 to defeat Vanessa Borne. She competed in a triple threat match against Cross and Royce soon after, losing to the latter. The winner would go on to take part in the fatal four-way match for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT ‘TakeOver: War Games.’

Other Information

Before coming to WWE, Morgan was a fan of the wrestling industry and competed in backyard wrestling with her four older brothers and younger sister. She was a cheerleader at one point and worked for a period at the popular restaurant chain Hooters.
