You can’t have them all. The Mae Young Classic brought in a lot of fresh blood to WWE, with several names joining the WWE Performance Center. There’s a good chance that we’ll be seeing a bunch of those names in the future, but it turns out that two of the more successful members of the tournament roster won’t be heading to WWE at the moment.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter by way of Wrestlinginc.com, WWE will not be signing either Toni Storm or Piper Niven, both of whom made strong runs in the Mae Young Classic. Both were told that WWE would be in contact after the tournament concluded but neither have heard from the company yet.

Storm certainly had some abilities.

Toni Storm vs. Ayesha Raymond - First Round Match: Mae Young Classic, Aug. 28, 2017

Opinion: Storm is more of a disappointment for me but Niven was no slouch and got a nice push in the tournament. Neither are the biggest losses in the world as the whole thing is going to be about Kairi Sane. If they can get the Four Horsewomen as a bonus, the women’s division could shoot to the stars in a hurry, at least in the short term.

Did you prefer Storm or Niven? Do you think either will wind up in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
