The injury reportedly saw him land on his right knee awkwardly during a kip-up. One fan in attendance believes the quad was the source of the scare.

It appeared that the match may have been stopped as the referee held up the dreaded “X” signal as Apollo was examined by medical personnel at ringside.

Apollo was able to continue the match, participating in the majority of the action. Though he and Titus were unfortunately unsuccessful in capturing the title, they put up a good effort.
