WWE has made Sting a large piece of its current merchandising push, which is evidenced by his new DVD, “The Best of Sting.” However, as WrestleZone.com noted earlier in the week, there was a major error in its cover art for the piece.

In the picture below, former WCW wrestler Jeff Farmer can be seen portraying “The Icon” in a misprinted photo as “nWo Sting,” which was more or less a knock-off of the real character.

On Friday, the WWE DVD distributor in Australia apologized for the error, and noted it will surely become a collector’s item in the future.

Future copies of the DVD will be adjusted. WWE announced the release of the DVD earlier this year, with the complete match listing included.
