Over the last week, it had been speculated WWE would be adding a second Money in the Bank ladder match for the upcoming “Money in the Bank” pay-per-view in Boston. Now, that is a certainty.
Seth Rollins declared on Tuesday’s edition of “Main Event” there will in fact be a second ladder match on the pay-per-view. Not only this, but he added he would be the first official entrant for the match.
With the announcement, there will now officially be two ladder matches on the card, just as there has been for the past several years. Previously, the two matches had a briefcase in each, with the WWE Championship and World Championship having cases. However, in December, the two belts were combined into one, which begged the question as to whether a second match would be necessary.
Eventually, Daniel Bryan would relinquish the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, making the original briefcase match be instead held for the vacant titles. Roman Reigns, John Cena, Alberto Del Rio, Cesaro, Sheamus, Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton will compete for title. It is being speculated a heel will win this match.

And with that, “Money in the Bank” just became the most anticipated pay-per-view of the year.
