TNA and Wrestle-1 will host the upcoming “Bound For Glory” pay-per-view in Japan on Oct. 12, but now, one of TNA’s prime attractions will not be wrestling at the event.

Wrestle-1 has announced the TNA World Tag Team Champions, The Wolves, will no longer be competing at the event. They have been replaced by Team 3D, featuring the recently-returned Bully Ray.

The reason given for the announcement is the leg injury Davey Richards reportedly suffered a little while back, though it brings some confusion to the table. At the recent television tapings for “Impact Wrestling,” which chronologically occur after the pay-per-view, Richards is in action alongside his tag team partner Eddie Edwards.

***SPOILER BELOW***

During the tapings, Edwards and Richards drop the titles to the tag team of James Storm and Abyss. While Richards is in action, this could be a sign he will need some time away from the ring to completely recover.

Editor’s Note

I do not understand this company. Genuinely.
